Kuiskaus

This kimono-style home robe in the Kuiskaus pattern is made of cotton. The gown is wrapped around the waist with a sewn-on belt, which is pulled through a slit in the side seam. The loose sleeves are dropped at the shoulders.
Fujiwo Ishimoto’s monumental Kuiskaus (whisper) pattern exudes both power and delicacy and impressively combines influences from the Japanese aesthetic and Marimekko’s print design heritage.
